A levitated balloon caught the interest of many a kid. It was fun to watch a young girl search for the string at the bottom of it when she was told she just had to grab the balloon!
I only had to ask Miss A. once if she would help draw the winning entry for the American Flag raffle. It was a 3'x5' flag with pole for porch mounting. The winner was Clarke E. of Omaha --- next step is to deliver it!!
Eugene, Otoe County Chairman, presented the raffled flag to the raffle winner on Aug. 3 at his house. Clarke said the flag will be flown at his house …
